Duggan Boys Top Hoosac Valley in Western Mass Semis

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Kyle Combs scored 20 points to lead five Duggan Academy boys basketball team players in double figures in an 83-70 win over Hoosac Valley on Wednesday night.
 
With the win, second-seeded Duggan advanced to the title game of the Western Massachusetts Class D Tournament, where it will face Pioneer Valley on Saturday.
 
Trevor Moynihan scored a game-high 31 points for Hoosac Valley.
 
Adan Wicks and Qwanell Bradley added 16 and 12 points, respectively.
 
As a team, the Hurricanes made 10 3-pointers in the loss.
 
Hoosac Valley finishes the regular season 8-12. On Saturday, it learns who it will face in the opening round of the Division 5 State Tournament.
