South Hadley Boys Top Hoosac Valley
CHESHIRE, Mass. – Jack Loughery scored 26 points Monday to lead the South Hadley boys basketball team to a 62-55 win over Hoosac Valley.
Tim Loughery scored 19 points for the Tigers, who took a 45-31 lead into the fourth quarter after outscoring the Hurricanes, 19-11, in the third.
“Physical Bi-County East game tonight at Hoosac,” Hurricanes coach Bill Robinson said. “We had trouble containing the Loughrey brothers. … Good inside out combo that was difficult to defend.”
Adan Wicks hit five 3-pointers and scored 32 points to lead Hoosac Valley, which got 13 from Qwanell Bradley.
Hoosac Valley (4-3) hosts Monument Mountain on Friday.
