South Hadley Boys Edge Hoosac Valley

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – Three South Hadley boys finished with 12 points apiece Friday as the Tigers edged Hoosac Valley, 49-43.

 

Colin Quinn, Liam Quinn and Chase Mathers tied for game-high honors.

 

“Tough physical game close throughout the game,” Hoosac Valley coach Bill Robinson said. “Hoosac came up on the short end. Mike Szabo had a nice game with nine points and 14 rebounds.”

 

Carson Meczywor scored a game-high 13, and Caleb Harrington added 12 for the Hurricanes.

 

Hoosac Valley (10-5) goes to Baystate Academy on Monday.
