McGrath Leads Taconic in Season-Opening Win

PTITSFIELD, Mass. -- Kyle McGrath scored 12 points Thursday to lead the Taconic boys basketball team to a 49-40 win over East Longmeadow in the season opener for both teams.

 

Martin Boua scored 10 points, and Nate Reynolds and Ceasar Santos added nine and eight, respectively, in a balanced scoring attack for Taconic.

 

The Thunder (1-0) is home on Monday against Westfield.
