Taconic Boys Come Back Late to Top Springfield ICS

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- The Taconic boys basketball team Monday outscored Springfield International Charter, 23-7, in the fourth quarter to take a 66-59 win.

 

Tayvon Sandifer scored 11 of his team-high 24 points in that fourth quarter to help the Thunder come from behind and win its eighth straight.

 

Steve Patch scored 13 points, and Jamal Sistrunk added 13 for Taconic, which got eight points from Christian Maturevich.

 

The Thunder (15-2) finishes the regular season on Thursday at home against East Longmeadow.
