McCann Tech Boys Qualify for Western Mass

PALMER, Mass. -- The McCann Tech boys basketball team Friday defeated Pathfinder, 68-40, to earn the Hornets 10th win of the season and a berth in the Western Massachusetts tournament.

 

Jeremy Beany led the way with 18 points.

 

Keeghan Vidal scored 14, and Bruce Davis added 12.

 

It was the sixth win in a row for McCann Tech (10-4), which has not lost since a one-point decision against Mount Greylock on Jan. 12.

 

The Hornets, who have won eight of their last nine, will look to improve on their tournament seed on Tuesday when they visit Hampden Charter.
