Drury Boys Down Wahconah

DALTON -- Nolan Bird scored 20 points, and the Drury High School boys basketball team used a 25-13 fourth quarter to beat Wahconah, 63-48, on Tuesday night.

Four Blue Devils finished in double figures. Tyler Briggs and Kareen Beckett each scored 14, and Justin Girard added 11.

Beckett had a team-high nine rebounds, and he and Briggs each poured in four 3-pointers as the Blue Devils (8-9) moved within one win of a Western Mass tournament berth with one game left, at Pittsfield on Wednesday night.
