Big Third Quarter Lifts Pioneer Valley Boys at Drury
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – The Pioneer Valley boys basketball team outscored Drury, 20-5, in the third quarter to take control of the game and went on to a 53-36 win on Tuesday night.
The Panthers had a narrow, 21-17, lead at half-time but delivered the knockout blow after coming out of the locker room to complete a season sweep of the Blue Devils.
Jorge Bond scored 15 points, and Sam Moorman added nine for Drury.
The Blue Devils (11-5) are at Frontier on Friday.
