Smith Academy Boys Edge Lee

LEE, Mass- Garret Willard scored 17 points Thursday to lead the Smith Academy boys basketball team to 55-53 win over Lee.

 

Willard hit two 3-pointers and scored 12 points in the fourth quarter, when Smith Academy outscored the Wildcats, 22-20, to earn the victory.

 

Tyler Bartini scored 20 points, and Sean Kinney added 16 for Lee, which got nine points on three 3s from Zeb Drenga.

 

Lee (0-3) hosts Athol on Tuesday.
