Lyon Homers in Pittsfield Win

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Tess Lyon went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs Sunday to lead the Pittsfield softball team to a 4-0 win over Agawam in the Generals’ regular season finale.

 

Giulianna Pierce struck out seven in a complete game win in the circle and helped her own cause with a single, a double and two RBIs.

 

Brittney Perkett and Erin Murphy also had two hits apiece for Pittsfield (18-2), which did not lose a game against a Western Massachusetts opponent in the regular season and learns its Western Mass tournament seed on Tuesday.
