Blanchard, Fosser Homer for Spartans in Win over Lee

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Aubrey Blanchard and Grace Fosser each hit a home run for the Monument Mountain softball in a 12-0, six-inning win over Lee on Tuesday.

 

Blanchard went 4-for-4 and drove in a pair of runs, and Fosser was 3-for-4 with four RBIs.

 

Elle Hull went 2-for-3 in a 13-hit Monument Mountain attack.

 

Rhianna Louw earned the win in the circle, going five innings and striking out six. Hull threw one inning of no-hit relief.

 

Ashley Cloutier had the lone hit for the Wildcats (2-9), who go to McCann Tech on Thursday.

 

Monument Mountain (6-5) is at Mount Greylock on Thursday.
