Franklin Tech Softball Blanks Hoosac Valley

CHESHIRE, Mass. – Hannah Gilbert struck out 14 and allowed just one hit Wednesday to lead the Franklin Tech softball team to a 12-0, six-inning win over Hoosac Valley.

 

Gilbert also went 4-for-4 at the plate in a 17-hit Eagles attack.

 

Averie McGovern had the lone hit for the Hurricanes. In the circle, McGovern struck out three and walked two in a complete-game effort.

 

Hoosac Valley (2-4) hosts Ware on Thursday.
