Hoosac Valley Softball Tops Monument Mountain

ADAMS, Mass. -- Madi Puppolo went 4-for-4 with a triple and drove in three runs Monday as the Hoosac Valley softball team defeated Monument Mountain, 17-3.

 

Rylan Witek was 3-for-4 with a double and a pair of RBIs, and Kelsey Wohrle and Logan Stansfield each had a pair of hits for Hoosac Valley, which went up, 11-1, after two innings. Lauren Faucher went 2-for-2 with a triple.

 

Puppolo struck out four to get the five-inning win in the circle.

 

Greta Luf and Grace Fosser each had a hit for Monument Mountain (6-6), which hosts Mount Everett on Thursday.

 

Hoosac Valley (14-2) goes to Wahconah on Wednesday.
