Puppolo Leads Hoosac Valley Softball Past Lenox
LENOX, Mass. -- Madi Puppolo went 4-for-5 with a triple and three RBIs Thursday to lead the Hoosac Valley softball team to a six-inning, 16-2 win over Lenox.
Riley Bishop was 3-for-5 with a double and two runs batted in for the Hurricanes, who compiled 13 hits.
Puppolo earned the win in the circle, allowing just three hits and one earned run in the complete-game effort.
Lexi Fletcher had a hit and scored a run, and Kasey Vallee drove in a run for the Millionaires (6-6), who are at Mount Greylock on Saturday.
Hoosac Valley (9-1) goes to Pittsfield on Monday.
