McCann Softball Rolls Over Gateway

HUNTINGTON, Mass. -- Brittany Tassone hit a grand slam, and Cheyanne Alcombright had a homer, two singles and three RBIs to lead the McCann Tech softball team to a 17-2 win over Gateway on Monday.

 

Julia Esoldi and Haley Malloy each went 2-for-3, and Taylor Sprague had a double and two RBIs for the Hornets (5-8), who got a three-hitter in the circle from Meghan Goyette.

 

McCann hosts Gateway on Tuesday afternoon.
