McCann Tech Softball Bows Out of Tournament

HOPEDALE, Mass. – The 13th-seeded Hopedale softball team Monday beat McCann Tech, 9-2, in the Division 5 State Tournament Round of 32.

 

Hannah Tatro had a double, and Emily Glasier and Emily Raschdorf each hit an RBI single for the Hornets.

 

“I’m very proud of this team,” McCann Tech coach Robin Finnegan said. “We made it to Western Mass, and States. They held their own against a good hitting team. Unfortunately, playing on a field without a fence is a disadvantage against a good hitting team.”

 

McCann Tech finishes its season at 11-9.
