Franklin Tech Scores in 7th for 1-0 Win over Lee

TURNERS FALLS, Mass. – Kylee Gamache hit a one-out RBI single in the bottom of the seventh to give the Franklin Tech softball team a 1-0 win over Lee on Friday afternoon.

 

The Eagles’ Hannah Gilbert won a titanic pitchers’ duel against Lee’s Bri Lynch as the pair combined for 32 strikeouts among the 40 outs recorded in the game.

 

Lynch had 15 of those Ks without walking a batter and allowed just four hits.

 

She also recorded the Wildcats’ only hit off of Gilbert.

 

Lee (1-5) hosts Lenox on Monday.
