St. Mary's Softball Stops Lee

LEE, Mass. – Paige Hutkoski struck out 11 Friday to lead the St. Mary’s softball team to a 7-1 win over Lee.

 

Hutkoski held the Wildcats to one run despite giving up nine hits.

 

Karalynn Hopkins went 2-for-4 with a triple, and Bri Lynch went 2-for-3 with a double for Lee.

 

Lynch also went five innings in the circle, striking out eight, walking one and allowing two earned runs.

 

Lee (1-2) hosts Westfield Tech on Tuesday.
