Hopkins, Lynch Power Lee in Regular Season Finale

WESTFIELD, Mass. – Karalynn Hopkins went 3-for-4 with a home run and a pair of doubles Monday to lead the Lee softball team to a 7-0 win over St. Mary’s.

 

Bri Lynch was lights out in the circle, striking out 18 and walking none while scattering four hits to earn the complete-game shutout.

 

Lynch helped her cause with a pair of doubles at the plate. Delaney Reed and Taryn Bannon (2-for-3) also doubled.

 

Lee finishes the regular season with a record of 14-2 and waits to hear its opponent in the quarter-finals of next week’s Western Massachusetts tournament.
