Mount Greylock Girls Beat Chicopee Comp

CHICOPEE, Mass. -- Emma Polumbo and Sarah Stripp each had a hat trick as the Mount Greylock girls lacrosse team bounced back from its first loss of the year with a 14-5 win over Chicopee Comp on Saturday.

 

Stripp had two assists for the Mounties (6-1).

 

Caroline Flynn scored twice with an assist, and the Mounties got goals from Lauren Aliberti, Kristen Aliberti, Lucy Barrett, Maggie Rorke, Haley Reinhard and Caroline Hadley.

 

Sam McWhinnie made three saves to earn the win.

 

Mount Greylock travels to face Hoosac Valley on Monday.
