Hoosac Valley Seniors Celebrate with Win

CHESHIRE, Mass. – Ashlyn Lesure and Emma Meczywor each scored four goals and set up four more Friday to lead the Hoosac Valley girls lacrosse team in a 16-5 win over Pittsfield.

 

Jacinta Felix had a hat trick, and Lauren Davis scored twice in the win.

 

“Today was a nice Senior Day for Tia Kareh and Nakiya Hubbard (one goal) and a nice overall team win where everyone played and contributed,” Hoosac Valley coach Molly West said. “Ashlyn Lesure and Emma Meczywor found cutters very well and assisted on some nice goals.”

 

Riley Steinman scored a pair of goals, and Alicia Houle and Juliana Kastrinakis each scored for the Generals, who got 10 saves from Hannah Kickery.

 

Pittsfield goes to Lee on Saturday.

 

Hoosac Valley (12-3) finishes the regular season on Tuesday at home against Chicopee.
