Mount Greylock Boys Lax Qualifies for Postseason

DALTON, Mass. -- Patrick Storie scored four goals to lead the Mount Greylock boys lacrosse team to a 19-5 win over Wahconah on Thursday as the Mounties earned their 10th win and a berth in the Central-Western Massachusetts tournament.

 

Reilly Parker, Thomas Astle and Liam Chenail each had a hat trick for Mount Greylock (10-1).

 

Michael McCormack scored a goal and assisted on five more, and Cole Hughes had four assists for Mount Greylock, which got six saves and one goal against in 32 minutes from keeper Cal Filson.

 

Quinn Caesar and Connor Washburn each scored two goals for Wahconah, which got 17 saves from keeper Vinny Orlandi.

 

Wahconah (6-3) hosts Hoosac Valley on Saturday.

 

Mount Greylock goes to Bennington, Vt., to face Mount Anthony on Friday.
