Rose Leads McCann Tech Boys Lax Past Central

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Evan Rose scored four goals and set up two more on Wednesday to lead the McCann Tech boys lacrosse team to a 9-1 win over Springfield Central.

 

Brody Rhinemiller stopped five shots to earn the win in goal for the Hornets.

 

“We started slow offensively but had quality looks at the net in the first half,” McCann Tech coach Marshall Maxwell said. “Our full field defense generated good offensive opportunities that we capitalized on in the second half.”

 

Cole Maxwell had a hat trick, and Parker Hart and Max Morin each scored a goal.

 

The Hornets (7-7) host Smith Vocational on Friday.
