Delisle's Four Goals Lift McCann Tech Boys Past Monson

MONSON, Mass. -- Jason Delisle scored four goals and set up two more as the McCann Tech boys lacrosse team Friday earned its second win of the week against Monson, taking a 9-4 decision on the road.

 

Colby Ghidotti scored twice and set up three goals, and Rylie Fortini made nine saves to get the win in goal.

 

“Our defense and midfield did a great job again for us today, especially on ground balls,” McCann Tech coach Paul Lange said. “Zavier Martin-Levesque quietly had a great game. He has become such a key leader for us. Lane Hughes, Hunter Hathaway, and Jordan Callahan each took one for the team and blocked shots.”

 

McCann Tech (7-4) takes a four-game winning streak into Saturday’s rematch with Pittsfield High in North Adams.
