McCann Tech Boys Lax Downs Granby
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Darian Tovani had a hat trick to lead a balanced attack for the McCann Tech boys lacrosse team in a 10-3 win over Granby on Thursday.
Keegan Dellaghelfa and Rylie Fortini combined to make 11 saves, and Jason Delisle and Evan Knapp each scored a pair of goals.
"Even though it doesn’t show on the scoresheet, Colby Ghidotti played one of his best games of the last two years, with his hustle and effort," McCann Tech coach Paul Lange. "Darian Tovani and Jason Delisle scored big goals and made great plays. Darius Tovani, Zavier Martin-Levesque, and Evan Knapp had their usual strong game at the midfield.
"Justin Horn, Tadan Bolte, and Lane Hughes had big games on defense, knocking down passes and playing solid defense."
McCann Tech (6-4) goes to Monson on Friday.
