Tovani Scores Three Goals in McCann Tech's Road Win

MONSON, Mass. — Darian Tovani had a hat trick, and Keean Dellaghelfa made eight saves to lead the McCann Tech boys lacrosse team to a 7-3 win over Monson on Monday.

 

"We played good team defense and came out strong in the second half," McCann Tech coach Paul Lange said. "After the first quarter, our offense settled down and played really well. Keegan came up huge to preserve the win in the fourth quarter."

 

Dellaghelfa and the Hornets defense pitched a shutout in the fourth quarter.

 

Brandon Sargent scored twice, and Colby Ghidotti Zavier Martin-Levesque each had a goal in the win.

 

McCann Tech (4-4) hosts Granby on Tuesday before going back to Monson on Friday.
