McCann Lacrosse Earns Program's First Win

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Mike Moreno scored four goals, and Nick Lincoln and Nico Romano each had a hat trick Monday to lead the McCann Tech boys lacrosse team to the first win in the program’s history, a 12-8 decision over St. Mary’s.

Justin Meczywor and Evan Knapp each scored a goal for the Hornets, who took control with a 4-1 third quarter to open up a five-goal lead going to the fourth.

Jake Tower made nine saves for McCann (1-10), which travels to Westfield for a rematch against St. Mary’s on Wednesday.
