LaPierre Leads Pittsfield Baseball Past East Longmeadow

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Ryan LaPierre went 3-for-4 with a double Wednesday as the Pittsfield baseball team beat East Longmeadow, 7-0.

 

Carter Matthews and Hunter Potash each went 3-for-4. and Ian Benoit and Jon Halse each had a double.

 

Potash picked up the win on the mound, striking out four and allowing just two hits and a walk in four innings of work. Matthews and LaPierre finished up, combining to strike out four.

 

Pittsfield (17-2) goes to Taconic on Sunday.
