Monument's Herrick Leads Way on Mound, at Plate in Win at Wahconah
DALTON, Mass. -- Graham Herrick went 3-for-4 with a triple, a double and two runs batted in Thursday to lead the Monument Mountain baseball team to a 5-0 win over Wahconah.
Jackson Blanchard and Jared Henry each went 3-for-4 as Monument Mountain (6-1) won its third straight.
Herrick and Henry split time on the mound with Herrick earning the win with five innings of two-hit ball.
Jake Gai led Wahconah’s offense with a 2-for-3 day at the plate, and Joe Woronick had a hit and stole a base.
Tanner Hill, Kyle Lee and Bob Archambault took turns on the hill for Wahconah.
Wahconah (2-4) hosts Hampshire on Saturday.
Monument Mountain hosts Lee on Saturday.
