West, Wellington, Wahconah Wallop Drury

DALTON, Mass. -- Wahconah’s Ben West homered twice, and Xavier Wellington struck out seven in a complete-game, five-inning 17-0 win over Drury on Saturday.

 

Wellington allowed just two hits and three walks.

 

West went 3-for-4 on the day with five RBIs to lead a nine-hit Wahconah attack.

 

Quinn Gallagher went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs. Colby Kirchner doubled and drove in three runs.

 

Ben Moulton and Anthony Pettengill each had a hit for Drury, which used five different pitchers.

 

The Blue Devils (2-4) host Taconic on Monday.

 

Wahconah hosts Pittsfield on Monday.
