Wendell, Wahconah Top Drury

DALTON, Mass. – Charlie Wendell went 2-for-2 with a pair of RBIs at the plate and struck out five on the mound Tuesday to lead Wahconah to a 14-3, five-inning win over Drury.

 

Ryan Marauszwski went 2-for-4 with four RBIs. Braedyn Melle tripled, and James Rabuse doubled in a nine-hit attack for Wahconah.

 

Nick Lescarbeau hit a solo home run for Drury, which also got RBIs from Hunter Marceau and Lucas Hamilton.

 

Hamilton, Darian Vidal and Brayden Canales split time on the mound for the Blue Devils (13-4) , who finish the regular season on Wednesday at home against Mount Everett.

 

Wahconah (13-5) awaits word of its quarter-final opponent in next week’s Western Massachusetts tournament.
