Davis Homers to Help Lift Wahconah Past Hoosac Valley

DALTON, Mass. -- Gabe Davis went 3-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs Tuesday to lead the Wahconah baseball team to a 12-5 win over Hoosac Valley.

 

Kyle Lee went 2-for-3 with a double and drove in a pair of runs, and Joe Woronick doubled in an 11-hit Wahconah attack.

 

Gabe Verdi and Tanner Hill split time on the mound, combining to strike out six.

 

Luc Trombley went 2-for-4 with an RBI, and Cole Desroches was 2-for-3 for Hoosac Valley.

 

The Hurricanes (5-5) host Mount Greylock on Thursday.

 

Wahconah (7-2) goes to Pittsfield on Wednesday.
