Lenox's Hanson Throws No-Hitter

LENOX, Mass. -- Connor Hanson struck out three and allowed two walks in a complete-game no-hitter for the Lenox baseball team on Thursday.

 

Hanson threw 64 pitches as the Millionaires handed Hoosac Valley a 5-0 setback at War Memorial Field.

 

Noah Hunter and Mike Downer each went 1-for-2 for Lenox, which managed three hits against Noah Matrigali.

 

Matrigali ended up a hard-luck loser as five Hoosac errors led to five unearned runs.

 

Hoosac Valley (6-6) goes Monson on May 13.

 

Lenox (2-6) travels to Pittsfield to play Taconic on Monday.
