West Side's Torres One-Hits Taconic

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – West Springfield’s Chris Torres struck out 14 in a complete-game one-hitter Monday as the Terriers beat Taconic, 3-0.

 

Evan Blake got the lone hit for the Thunder.

 

Damon Pause took the loss on the mound, going the full six innings and striking out six while allowing two earned runs.

 

Taconic (13-2) makes the short trip to Clapp Park to face Pittsfield on Tuesday afternoon.
