Hornets' Barrett Shuts Down Lee

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – McCann Tech’s Ty Barrett struck out seven in a complete-game, six-inning, 11-1 win over Lee at Joe Wolfe Field.

 

The win gave the Hornets 10 on the season, securing their place in the state tournament.

 

Barrett walked just one and did not allow an earned run in the win.

 

Troy Tassone led the offense, going 3-for-4 with a double. Dom DeMayo also doubled in a 2-for-3 afternoon.

 

Jesse Brazee went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBIs and also stole four bases.

 

McCann Tech (10-5) finishes the regular season on Wednesday at Mount Greylock.
