Lee Golfers Edge Lenox, Qualify for Western Mass

LEE, Mass. – Joey Abderhalden took medalist honors on Wednesday in leading the Lee High golf team to a 170-172 win over Lenox at Greenock Country Club.
 
Abderhalden carded a one-over round of 36 as Lee picked up its seventh match win and qualified for the Western Massachusetts Division 3 Championships.
 
Lee’s Johnny Brighenti birdied the par-3 second hole on his way to a 43. David Carlino earned a birdie on the par-4 fourth and carded a 44.
 
For Lenox, Brady DiGrigoli birdied the second hole, and Michael Methe had the low round at 39.
 
The Millionaires go to Hoosac Valley on Friday.
 
Lee is at Monument Mountain on Monday.
