Hall, Taconic Top Mount Greylock

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Mitch Hall carded a 37 on Wednesday to lead the Taconic golf team to a 158-166 win over Mount Greylock at Berkshire Hills Country Club.
 
The Mounties’ Jacob Hillman birdied the par-4 ninth hole to finish the day at even-par 35 and take medalist honors.
 
Taconic’s Matt Dupuis birdied the par-3 seventh and par-4 eighth on his way to a 41 to score for the Thunder.
 
“First time in a match this season for Matt Dupuis,” Taconic coach Matt Capeless said. “He played great and scored for us today with two birdies. Cold windy day, but a good bounce back match from our worst score at home on Monday.”
 
For Mount Greylock, Will Svrluga got off to a strong start with a birdie on the par-4 first hole and another on the par-5 fourth, and he carded his low round of the season at 39. Max Easton also picked up a birdie, breaking par on the par-4 sixth hole.
 
The Mounties (7-5) host Lenox on Monday.
 
Taconic (7-6) hosts Mount Everett on Friday.
