Berkshire Nordic League Runs Relays at Prospect Mountain

WOODFORD, Vt. – The Mount Greylock Nordic ski team took four of the top 10 spots in the regular-season ending Berkshire County League relays at Prospect Mountain.
 
The quartet anchored by Quinn McDermott finished in 33 minutes, 45 seconds to beat the field by nearly two minutes.
 
Mount Greylock also got wins from relays anchored by Jude Bakija, Declan Rogers and Knowl Stroud in third, sixth and 10th, respectively.
 
Wahconah placed four relays in the top eight with Fritz Sanders’ quartet leading the way in second place with a time of 35:24. The Wahconah foursome anchored by Scott Duma was fourth.
 
Hoosac Valley’s Justin Levesque anchored the Hurricanes to a fifth-place finish.
 
The league’s skiers will be back at Prospect on Wednesday for the State Championships.
