Chenail, McCormack Lead Mount Greylock Boys

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Liam Chenail and Michael McCormack scored five goals apiece to lead the Mount Greylock boys lacrosse team to a 23-2 win over Monument Mountain on Tuesday.

 

Cole Hughes scored twice and assisted on five goals, and McCormack added four assists to his Western Mass-leading point total of 145.

 

Cal Filson played all 48 minutes in goal for the Mounties, stopping seven of nine shots he faced.

 

Cooper Parker and Thomas Berle each scored a goal for the Spartans, who got an assist from Wilson Kaplan and 14 saves from Jonah Swotes.

 

Mount Greylock (15-1) hosts Taconic on Friday.
