Rumbolt, Lapine Lead Wahconah Icers to Win

, Mass. -- Logan Rumbolt and Nate Lapine each scored twice to lead the Wahconah hockey team to a 7-0 win over Mount Everett on Thursday night.

 

Mike Bloom had a goal and two assists, and Andrew Beaudoin and Josh Faune each scored.

 

"We played a very deep and well coached team," Eagles coach Aidan Gilligan said. "It was our fourth matchup against them this season and in reality they will be one of the top two seeds in Western Mass.

 

"I was pleased with the effort the whole game, they just outplayed us and were the better team."

 

Jonah Swotes stopped 48 shots for Mount Everett. Nico Romano made 25 saves for Wahconah.
