Alibozek Leads Hoosac Golfers Over Mount Greylock

ADAMS, Mass. -- Derek Alibozek carded a 4-over-par round of 38 to lead the Hoosac Valley golf team to a 164-170 win over Mount Greylock on Wednesday at Forest Park Country Club.

 

Nate Lapine and Henry Sniezek backed up Alibozek with rounds of 41, and Jack Sniezek's 44 rounded out the scoring for the Hurricanes.

 

Lapine's day was highlighted by a birdie on the ninth hole.

 

Mount Greylock's Ben Gilooly earned medalist honors with a 2-over 36. Kyle Alvarez (41), Matt Wiseman (43) and Lilly Crolius (50) each scored for the Mounties.

 

Gilooly, Wiseman and Alvarez each recorded a birdie.

 

Top golfers from around the county head to Stockbridge Country Club on Sunday for the Berkshire Classic individuals tournament.
