Lenox Girls, Boys Go 3-0 at Wahconah
DALTON, Mass. – Alice Culver led four Lenox girls in the top eight on Wednesday as all the Berkshire County League cross country teams got together at Dalton for the dual meet finale on Wednesday.
Culver crossed the line in 19 minutes, 43.13 seconds to finish 31 seconds ahead of the field.
Millionaires Elyssa Scrimo, Nora Schoeny and Lila Kousch placed fourth, sixth and eighth, respectively, in the 108-runner field in the girls race to help their team go 3-0 in duals.
The Lenox boys also went 3-0, including a 24-32 win over Taconic, behind the trio of Cormac Mathews, Owen Ames and Benjamin Harwood, who finished within three seconds of one another in 10th, 11th and 12 places in the 122-runner boys field.
Everett Pacheco won the boys race in 16:58.68, placing 20 seconds ahead of runner-up Seth Aitken of Pittsfield and the rest of the field.
