Taconic Hockey Team Falls to Woodstock Academy

POMFRET, Conn. -- Woodstock Academy scored four second-period goals on the way to a 6-2 win over the Taconic hockey team on Saturday afternoon.

 

Taconic scored first on an unassisted goal by Shane Tierney in the first minute of the second period.

 

After Woodstock tied it, Taconic (7-7-1) got a goal from Andy Cella with assists from Connor Conant and Matt Gingras.

 

But Woodstock then scored the next five goal unanswered.

 

Taconic travels to Mount Everett on Tuesday.
