Taconic Icers Go Back to Western Mass Final

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Eric Harrington scored his second goal of the game in overtime Thursday to give the Taconic hockey team a 3-2 win over Amherst-Pelham in the Western Massachusetts Class B Tournament at the Olympia Ice Center.

 

Owen Odermatt also scored a goal for the Thunder.

 

Hunter Shepardson made 30 saves in net for Taconic to earn the victory.

 

Fourth-seeded Taconic moves on to Saturday's 12:30 p.m. regional final, where it will meet No. 2 Agawam, a 4-1 winner over Easthampton in the semi-finals.
