Taconic Golfers Edge Hoosac Valley in Opener

ADAMS, Mass. -- Nate Murphy carded a 39 on Monday to lead the Taconic golf team to a 180-188 win over Hoosac Valley at Forest Park.

 

The Hurricanes' Corben Craig edged Murphy for medalist honors with a 37. He notched a 3 the par-4 second hole for the day's only birdie.

 

Seamus Hayes (42), Nick Slocik (49) and Matt Sottile (50) scored for Taconic.

 

Hoosac Valley got a 44 from Ian Cappiello, a 49 from Corey Charron and a 58 from Joe Bentz.
