Wahconah Golfers Go to 5-0

DALTON, Mass. – Tim Kaley birdied the fourth and seventh holes to finish at 2-under-par 33 on Friday and lead the Wahconah golf team to a 146-184 win over Mount Everett at Wahconah Country Club.
 
‘Tim played great from the first tee right to the ninth hole,” Wahconah coach Pete Terpak said. “Young guns Kesler Anello (even par 35) and Logan Aitken (38) continue their strong play and seem to be improving daily. These two are learning a lot from Tim and are working extremely hard everyday in practice.”
 
Five Wahconah players finished at 40 or better on the day. Aitken birdied the seventh hole, and Carter Drake broke par on No. 7 and No. 9 to finish at 40.
 
Mount Everett was led by Simon Fife, who birdied the eighth hole. Levi Martin (No. 6) and Chet Schur (No. 9) also birdied for the Eagles.
 
Mount Everett (0-6-1) hosts Taconic on Monday.
 
Wahconah (5-0) is at Monument Mountain on Monday.
