McCann Tech Golfers Down Westfield Tech

WESTFIELD, Mass. -- Four McCann Tech golfers put up scores in the 40s Monday as the Hornets earned a 20.5-3.5 win over Westfield Tech at East Mountain Country Club.

 

“We had never seen the course before, so we had some pretty good scores, especially with the lack of familiarity,” McCann Tech coach Justin Kratz said.

 

Cole Kratz led the way with a 43 and a 4-0 win at No. 1. Nash Morin also earned a 4-0 win at No. 6, carding a 49 in the victory.

 

Ryan Baran and Dalton Tatro each finished at 44 to win at Nos. 2 and 3, respectively. And Matt Jette (50) and Chris Rose (55) also won to give McCann a sweep of the dual matches.

 

The Hornets go to Sabis on Tuesday.
