Lee, Taconic Bowlers Each Go 3-0

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Devyn Fillio and Julianna Schuerer Friday led the Lee High bowling team to a 3-0 win over Pittsfield in Berkshire County High School Bowling League action at Cove Lanes.
 
Fillio had the day’s best game (188) and series (365) among the league’s girls. Schuerer was second in the league with a 143 game and 280 series as the Wildcats held onto their tie for first place in the league standings.
 
Pittsfield was led by Matt Dupuis, who had the best game and best series of the season in the league, rolling a 279 on the way to a two-game score of 462.
 
Lee stayed tied for first because Taconic rolled past McCann Tech, 3-0.
 
Luzis Brown led the Thunder with a 247 game, good for second in the league on Friday, and a 412 series. Alyssa Smith backed up Brown with a 250 series.
 
For the Hornets, Reilly Lefebvre rolled a 414 series that was second in the league on Friday. Lillian Peckham rolled a 142 game for McCann Tech.
 
The day’s third varsity match saw Monument Mountain sweep Drury, 3-0, behind Steve Woodard, who rolled a 217 game that was third-best in the league on Friday.
 
The league is off until Friday when it bowls at King Pins in North Adams.
