Lee Golfers Top Mount Everett

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Joey Abderhalden carded a 1-under round of 36 on Friday to lead the Lee golf team to a 175-193 win over Mount Everett at Wyantenuck Country Club.

 

Abderhalden finished strong with birdies on the par-4 sixth hole and par-5 eighth to earn medalist honors and post the only score in the 30s.

 

His Lee teammate Rydel Drenga finished his round with a birdie on the par-4 ninth hole.

 

For Mount Everett, Simon Fife birdied the par-4 third hole on his way to the team’s best score, a 41.

 

The Eagles (1-6-1) host Lenox on Tuesday.

 

Lee (5-3) go to Mount Greylock on Monday.
