Lee Boys Tennis Wraps Up Perfect Regular Season

LEE, Mass. -- The Lee boys tennis team earned five straight-set wins for a 5-0 win over Lenox as the Wildcats finished the regular season with an 8-0 record.

 

No. 1 Chris Petrescu beat Rocco Piretti, 6-4, 6-2. No. 2 Matt Petrescu topped Jack O’Brien, 6-0, 6-2. And No. 3 Cooper Malone downed Michael Piretti, 6-3, 6-3.

 

At first doubles, Mason Mihlek and Josh Perrier teamed up to beat Owen Bayne and Alex Fuster, 6-1, 6-3. At No. 2, the tandem of Gabe Kelley and Jimmy Purcell beat Niki Ilia and Christopher Sohl, 6-0, 6-0.
